Its shocking that Pakistan pay Afghan 18% duty and India pays non. MFN status for India. Pak should impose extreme high duty for using the Karachi port and plus heavy tolls for using the roads.
What a snake...

I dont think this will improve any trade they can simply use iran port and transport goods from there , better negotiate with afghans

If it would be feasible they would have adopted long time ago. But they didn't adopt Iran passage....

India have given pakistan the status of most favorable nation what India get in return Kargil?

Pakistan is destabilizing Afghanistan then how can you expect favors from afghans.

The Pakistan is allowing supplies under American pressure nobody in Pakistan army or government can dare America.

check the balance of trade....who benefits more. Plus without resolving regional and water dispute....all favor good for India but not for Pakistan...because without water Pak agro is damaging and Indian has more chances to increase trade and kill Pak remain surviving agro lands, which is facing shortage of water.

Its because transit through Pakistan was profitable..if Pakistan implement what you suggest here, then transit through Iran is more profitable :)

But India has to tow US policy. Which is against this trade route. Plus traveling from sea and land is more then triple the distance.

If your increase the duties then we have to find alternative right? :)
