Well my Dear Brother you should study Afghan Pakistan Relations before the Soviet Invasion and Pakistan Support for Afghan Resistance against Communist Kabul Regime and Soviet Union. That was the Turning point and Birth of Afghan Pakistan Love Relation.
Before that. Afghanistan Rejected to accept Pakistan in 1947, Rejected to Accept our Borders, Invaded our Tribal Areas, Instigated Separatist movements in Tribal areas, Ippi Faqir and Pashtunistan Fiasco go read about it. Pakistan was weak back then, Fragile and Unstable. Afghanistan was a strong country. Name me one movement that Pakistan supported to destabilize Afghanistan from 1947 Untill the soviet invasion. I can name you countless personnel, Leaders and Movements that took refuge in Afghanistan in that Period. They claimed our Sovereign lands. Our First Prime Minister Liaqat Ali khan was Assassinated by Afghans.
Anyways they brought it on themselves when they crossed all limits when they Turned full on communist regime by assassinating their own president with the help of Soviet Special forces and their Radios openly started broadcasting anti Pakistan Rhetoric.
they invited the Soviet union. the Red Army was on our borders. We had lost East Pakistan just 7 8 years ago in which soviet union was a clear accomplice of India. Long story short we Fought the Communists with everything we got and helped the Afghan Resistance the keep them at bay until its withdrawal. That support to the resistance was commended by whole world back then. And the Afghans Became our Brothers after hard Fought Victory. Only Untill 9/11 when USA Invaded Afghanistan. The old Afghan Ideology Resurfaced gradually. Not accepting our Borders, Showing hostility on every turn, Harboring Indian Plans and so on, i don't need to elaborate what Afghanistan have done from the formation of new Kabul Government.
They are not our brothers. Just Skip the 1979 to 2001 phase and you will see Ditto Copy similar attitude from the Afghan Government toward Pakistan. And we will destroy any force that threatens our national integrity. Its not a religious issue.
from 1947 to 1979 they kept supporting the Pashtuun Nationalism and Baluschistan Nationalism. Then they started Supporting Communist Insurgents in Pakistan. now again they are in full support of Pashtun Card and Religious Extremism.
If they want Pakistan as a brother country first they should become neutral between India and Pakistan. Otherwise this is real world. If someone wants to destroy us, Claim our land, then he is not our brother.
And i stand clear here, Pakistan lay no claim over Afghanistan or any of its land. We only claim our Internationally recognized border. Go read about it too. who has the problem with durind Line

President Donald Trump continued to say Tuesday that the US is talking to the government of Afghanistan and the Taliban and he is "looking at different things" in the region.

Speaking at the White House, Trump lamented that US involvement in the country for 18 years, which he described as more of a "police force," is "ridiculous," and repeated a claim that the US "could win that war in a week if we wanted to" but that he does not "want to kill 10 million people, 10 million Afghans ... because that's what would have to happen and I'm not looking to do that."

Trump said the US is "bringing some of our troops back but we have to have a presence."

The area "does seem to be the Harvard University of terrorism," Trump said.

"We've been a peacekeeper there, in a way, for 19 years and at a certain point you have to say that's long enough," he said, describing visiting wounded veterans at Walter Reed military hospital who have served in Afghanistan.

He said the US is "negotiating -- we'll see what happens," but that the Taliban could stop unrest in the region "very easily."

Trump met with top national security advisers last week at his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey, to review a US-Taliban peace plan that could end America's longest-running war.

The State Department announced on Tuesday that its Taliban negotiator Zalmay Khalilzad was traveling to Doha and Afghanistan to continue discussions with the Taliban and Afghan government, respectively, on the peace process.

The plan is expected to formalize a significant withdrawal of US forces -- from about 15,000 troops to 8,000 or 9,000 -- and enshrine official commitments by the Taliban to counterterrorism efforts in Afghanistan, according to multiple sources familiar with the plan.

While the deal will include other elements, including a US-Taliban ceasefire, it has at least one crucial omission: It is not expected to secure a commitment by the Taliban to hold their fire on the Afghan people or the Afghan military, according to sources familiar with the talks.

The Taliban do not recognize the Afghan government, which has not been involved in the talks the US has been holding with the extremist Islamic movement in Qatar.

I don't think the interests of Afghanistani and Pakistani people are at odds. I think it is the interests of few people that bring about this hostility.

The interests of Muslims are in cooperation and reconciliation. Just as the Europeans realised after so many wars and death that their future lay in cooperation otherwise they wouldn't be able to face the other powers of the world individually.

Muslims too must realise that without cooperation, we stand a much lower chance to live honourably in this world.

If we remain bickering amongst ourselves, we will remain humiliated and oppressed.

May Allah give us the foresight to see beyond, what are in the grand scheme of things, petty differences and recognise the true potential of cooperation.

Very well said brother, thank you. Don't know why our people are scared of dialagoue with another. This happens in Arab world with disputes too and it's really sad how we dumb down our potential so much whilst also fail to fulfill our obligations to God and fellow Muslims in process.

Agree with you that we have no control over government policies at the moment but we still have control over ourselves and are required by God to try be as good to each other as possible. And some of us need to start setting an example for other Muslims. Every Muslim individual has a role to play in this Ummah.
