ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Environment Change Zartaj Gul has held Afghanistan responsible for the murder of police officer Tahir Dawar.

Speaking to media representatives here on Friday she said SP Dawar’s sudden abduction and recovery of his dead body from Afghanistan paints a very suspicious picture.

“The Afghan authorities politicised the release of his body to the Pakistan delegation by making them wait for two hours,” she said, adding the government needs to take the matter seriously now while expressing confidence the interior ministry will soon develop a strategy and inform the people.

The minister further said the event should not be messed up in politicking and it should not be seen as abduction and murder. “It is a bigger game and a proxy war is going on in the region,” she said lamenting Pakistan is affected by whatever happens in Afghanistan.

“Afghanistan has hurt our feelings in this incident,” she added while referring to the murder of Maulana Samiul Haq and urged for such events to be taken seriously as there could a bigger game behind.

Speaking about smog and pollution she said measurement of the rate of pollution is the job of the EPA. “Unfortunately Karachi has turned into a garbage heap for its solid waste that is not disposed of,” she remarked, adding that smog has also added to the pollution and cleanliness problem.

“Lahore is affected the most by smog and we need to speak to India in this regard,” she said highlighting southern areas of Punjab are being affected by smog of Delhi. “Pakistan is doing its part in facing the challenge but India will also has to play its”.

You clearly dont have any idea about the kidnapping for ransom situation here until the border is sealed that thing will remain problematic

. .
we should retaliate or face another such attack .
.

best retaliation would be to kill indian consulate members in jalalabad.

Kidnapping in Pakistan and shifting the person to Pakistan is the most common scenario in case of kidnapping specially high profile case ... former prime minister yousuf raza gilani's son spent several years in afghanistan after his kidnapping ...

This is the reason we want to seal the border but criminal afghanis dont want to seal as it will reduce the income aignificantly from kidnappings smugling, drug trade and other illegal activities ...

He was taken by mutual friends of the scum (Pashteen) in your DP to near the border for a day out and then abducted from there to over the border.

He did, he was lured in by mutual friends of him who were also friends of PTM into the tribal areas and/or Afghanistan itself and then abducted.

Many people kidnapped in Pakistan are shifted to Afghanistan where they will be safe from Pakistani law, intel and military agencies. From there, they begin to make demands such as ransom or continue to hold the abductee.
