When transporting by air, BD or any other country is as good as Pak.

Anyways, the purpose of transporting these Afghans is to save them from Taliban. Sending them to Pak may be risky, as Pakistan may already have several Taliban hiding inside to do their job.

President Biden is an idiot who ended the Doha negotiations with the Taliban without first securing the safety of the Afghans who sided with the govt. The result is the recent panic among the populace living in Kabul, especially those who were with the govt.

Among the regional airlines, Pakistan Airlines is the best choice and any airline from India may be the worst if one considers the Taliban mindset. Similarly, any American airline will also be the Taliban missile target.

But, Indonesian, Malaysian, Turkish, or Bangladesh airlines may be different in the eyes of the Taliban. But I have read somewhere the Insurance Companies of certain airlines have refused to endorse the Kabul operations.

So, the best way is to support evacuation by BIMAN or other airlines but the American insurance companies must ensure compensation for loss of lives and machines.

The evacuation of Afghans is a humanitarian issue. So, it should be thought out in that line. BIMAN should evacuate them with proper protection from American and Turkis forces there when a plane is over the Afghan sky.

Americans were stupid to enter into negotiations with Taliban. After years of fighting the Taliban, the fact that Americans decided to talk to them gave Taliban a psychological boost and demoralized Afghan leadership and forces.
US should have looked into the Taliban's sources of finances and tried to cut it off - such as possible funds coming from Pakistan or the opium trade.
