The Afghanistan national football team defeated Bangladesh 3-0 in their opening match in South Asia Football Federation (SAFF) Championship on Thursday.
Played in Trivandrum International Stadium in Delhi city of India, both the teams started a moderate performance with no goals during the initial minutes of the game despite Afghanistan lost a number of opportunities to open the goal of Bangladesh.
The Afghan team managed to hit their first goal during the 29th minute of the first half which was hit by Masih Sighani.
The second goal was hit by captain Faysal Shayesteh during the 31st minute of the game while the third goal was hit by during the 41st minute of the game by Zubair Amiry.
Afghanistan started the second half of the game with a thrilling performance but could not hit a goal during the initial minutes of the second half but Khaibar Amani hit the fourth goal shortly after replacing Zubair Amiry during the second half of the game.
The opening match of Afghanistan in SAFF Championship was live telecasted by Lemar and Tolo Television networks.
