India has also been one of the main sources of aid for the U.S.-supported Afghan government. President Hamid Karzai has been on a visit to New Delhi, where he received $450 million to add to the $750 million already promised by India. Indian companies and workers are active in highway-building and hydroelectric projects in Afghanistan.

Any idea what are all the financial projects Pakistan is getting from Afghan? Wats going on with pak except war

There are threads and posts on the forum - I believe Pakistan has pledged about 200 million USD in aid to Pakistan, and recently pledged another 20 million USD to assist with repatriation of refugees.

Aside from that, trade on essential and non essential commodities etc.

Pakistan can only contribute within her own means, keeping in mind her own shortfalls and problems.

I am not complaining about Pakistans contribution in terms of MONEY. Many construction projects are taken by indian companies (Few of them got killed too..but Indian companies are getting huge finance benifit out of this war.

Being a muslim and next step nation pakistan is fighting for the US. I dont see any thread mentioning pakistan projects in afghan. It may be private sector..it will not only give pakistan employment but it stregthens the relations...

Pakistan's biggest contribution to Afghanistan.... Taliban... ....Kidding..:P.:blah:

Now, when u look at the geographic situation of Afghanistan, Pakistan is very important. Afghanistan is a land-locked country, it will need access to the seas for crucial supplies, and what ever trade it as to do with the east.. Pakistan is very important for them. Hence, even the thought of trade will bring Pakistan to their minds.

Pakistan initiated and organised the Afghan Donor Group after the US/Nato attack on Afghanistan and we've sofar hosted most of those donor confrences.
Furthermore we've recently donated a kidney hospital, we're providing building materials such as cement and concrete, steel, bricks, raw materials and ofcourse food for the Afghans.

Pakistan is not a share holder of

Aiding a anti Pashtun warlords is not about contributing Afghanistan.

Pakistan should refrain from promoting/supporting undemocratic, pro-indian rulers of Afghanistan.

The day govt. of NA (bunch of drug dealers & warlords) collapse; indian sena will be the first one packing their bags.
