The Afghans did the mistake of fighting the Soviets taking the help of Pak/US. I hope they dont do the same mistake again.

If the Soviets had been in Afghanistan - it would have been much much better than it is today,IMO.

Ofcourse it would have suited u plenty if the soviots had invaded and settled in Afghanistan. You would have not had the need to elope with ur illicit lover uncle samm then

not sure about india, but pakistan is not completely secure, it is something between religious and secular, but in that day afghanistan gov was on secular basis.
