I think Pakistan should shell the area to make sure he is dead.

US paving the way for remaining TTP cadre to join ISIS.
The truce with Afghan Taliban would then be used to engage them through ISIS. US would supply ISIS with men, material and intelligence to weaken the command and control structure of the Afghan Taliban. It's all back to the same FSA vs ISIS strategy deployed in Syria back in 2012/2013.

Despite being a USA ally, FSA was virtually decimated at the hands of SAA and ISIS/Jabhat al-Nusra by 2013 (the latter being sponsored by the US). For me its a zero-sum game, lets see how well Afghan Taliban and PA negotiate it because the eventual target of ISIS is Pakistan's western borders.

Source is express tribune, they are usually authentic . If true would be a big blow to already defragmenting TTP. It also shows that Pak and US have agreed to deal the mutual enemies, ignoring india. Who has long been supporting these terrorist elements to carry out attacks inside Pakistan.

I agree with the first part. US is trying to push the "Hot Zone", from middle east to central asia...to bring chaos to the doorsteps of Russia and China....in order to keep them engaged there, along with furtherer weakening of communism (whatever is left over).....Smart move
