Afghan national army soldier treated at Pakistani post

Gesture? It's pretty much a necessity. A lot of the posts along the border are closer to Pakistani clinics and hospitals, rather than Afghan hospitals. Pakistani hospitals are also better equipped, and far more numerous in number.

Pakistan has had little choice but to treat Afghan soldiers, partially on humanitarian grounds, but mostly due to pressure from the US.

I remember the last time Pakistan treated an Afghan soldier (I think it happened a few months ago), it turned out that the soldier was involved in shooting at Pakistani posts, and was injured in retaliatory fire; Pakistan literally saved the life of someone that was actively harming Pakistan.

Valid points. At the end of the day That's what makes us bigger minded and better. Not shallow and reckless. Of course international media with its agendas would never report this.

This is the professionalism of Pak Army and humanitarianism of Pakistan they don't want others to be REMINDED about
