Afghan & Iranian soldiers exchange fire on border

Assalam alaikum

yes this afghan army is not that professional and most of them r tajiks naturally they have good relations with iran

TARIQ

Lets not generalize bro, have had some true brotherly and professional contacts within Afghan Tajiks and Tajikistan proper, I can reveal that Pakistan is trying hard with linguistic experts to establish good relations with all Afghan ethnics. Naturally we feel an ifinity with Pashtuns because of our own Pashtun's but in the long run - we should establish contacts with all sections of Afghan.

I been pain to others? what kind of drugs you on .. what have i done to anyone here what you lost you damn mind .. now if you are talking Pakistan then wake up its your afghan that is the main root of problems we all face today your coward and bastard taliban and mullahs are and have been destroying the world today so watch your mouth and use your head when you respond to me. Stick to the topic and face reailty if you can't then buss off somewhere else of you can't handle it like a man.

strange that you guys are complaining about taliban and mullah.

Since you are a religious person, you shouldnt go to this ethnic things. Secondly, you contradic yourself, if Tajiks are alot in ANA and tajiks have better relations with iran, then why should they exchange fire? Yes, army is not that professional and thats what you can expect from them for now. And the last thing, not most of the army is tajik.

Actually when u talk about afghanistan u have to bring the ethnic things otherwise i don't like this issue either and most of the afghans that i know r tajik and they r very good hardworking ppl

TARIQ

lol cool down brother , he doesnot miss a chance to blame pakistan he is just ahmad nothing else

TARIQ

Tariq, and did you see his post or just missed that one? I never blame anybody, but if somebody unecessarily attacks us, then i have to respond with the same manner.

Let's not get hostile, other wise we neighboring countries would be acting just like our border guards. I think Iran feels very threatened that they are surround by American troops in Iraq, and Afghanistan. I guess their border guards are being very aggressive and assertive, especially when they caught spies trying to enter the country in the past.

Tariq, you are again mistaken, if i bring the ethnic issues of Afghanistan just like that and without provocation, then i ask you to bring that proof to me and i will appologize to everybody. The thing is, pakisani friends are more interested in ethnic issues of ours more than oursevles, if you at least dont see this reality in PDF then that is very disappointing.

Professional Opinion of Afghan Army Through Observation

Pluses
1) Afghan soldiers are brave and tough
2) Good physical and mental endurance

Minuses
1) The majority of the enlisted men are illiterates. Meaning training, in any sort of weapon system or technical manual impossible.
2) The widespread use of narcotics amongst soldiers and officers.
3) AWOL is a unknown concept within the ANA.
4) The ANA does not have enough recruits from the areas, where they operate.
5) No institutional framework, the ANA does not have any traditions to fall back on.
6) Lack of professionalism - many times the chain of command is totally ignored.
7) Total reliance on ISAF and NATO for all logistical, CAS, Close fire support, supplies.

The Taliban can hold rifles, did you forget how they killed your diplomats?

Back on topic, I dont know why it happend, but it might have something to do with the drug trafficking and smuglers. I think both countries need to make more efforts to tackle this problem. These isolated incidents shouldnt be an obstackle between the 2 countries.

Yes, these type of fire exchange happened on Tajik, Turkmen & Iran border to counter drug dealers while Iranian border much open than Pakistan for Afghan citizens.

Dear RazPak, this piece of news says this: Afghan and Iranian military are exchanging fire on the border after Iranian border guards broke into Afghanistan on Tuesday, the local television said on Wednesday.

The Tolo television said Iranian border guards had crossed into Nimruz Province in southwestern Afghanistan and attacked Afghan servicemen.

Tolo also said the Iranians had fired several rockets at the city of Zaranj, the capital of the province, but no victims or damage have been reported.

In this news, it does not suggest that provocation came from Afghanistan, also according to BBC farsi, the iranian guards tried to establish military posts inside Afghansitan's soil, the afghan soldiers prevented them and thats how it happend. I dont wana jump to any conclusion or condemn any side until it gets clear, but what i can say is that relations between teh 2 countries is good and brotherly.

Thats the topic my friend incase you been a sleep all this time... second offcourse its only logical and the truth to blame these bastards ... and the root of the problems we all face today is from your country and you know it. The birth of the these cowards come from your so call country and your gov and army have lost their damn minds these days in the mix trying to mess with Pakistan and now Iran you don't like i care less the fact is fact all problems are directed straight towards your country and no one else you people are who started this **** we all are in today specially Pakistan we are who are paying the price so stop wriiting back don't waste my time i rest my case end of the day you should know its your country that has done all this sh_t . :hitwall:

I believe that we all (USA, Pakistan, Afghanistan) have a hand in the creation of Taleban both directly and indirectly, therefore we shouldn't play this blame game, and secondly due to the Nosey policies of some previous Afghan governments Afghanistan has been turned into a playground for other countries, and due to the stupidity of men like Zia ul haq Pakistan has been turned into a land infested with terrorist factories churning out suicide bombers 24/7. So its childish to put the blame on one party and consider rest as angels.
