The key of our success to the some extent. The nation has no issue but a specific group/mindset. US/NATO itself are stuck due to incompetency of Kabul and that spending went down the drain till now that local forces couldn't curb the issue at all. We have to be more careful and farsighted at a time, the land is not suited for us at all but we must maintain our defence and not to let them interfere. The rest about ANA Chief, need to realize that couldn't deal with own enemy at home yet, threatening Pakistan will do nothing except a good pay raise from a certain quarters so enjoy the moment. All in all, the retaliation in subject, if called attack that would be proper, is actually what we are being dealing since long hence, current action by PA. This is not new from ANA/NDS.

Yes and involving china n russia in the peace process was a masterstroke, Us and its regime is slowly bieng rendered insignificant in afghanistan, a huge indicator was that the Us didnt object to pakistani strikes in afghanistan, seems like the yanks are tired n wanna get the hell outta this mess, thier major objective for attacking afganistan was to run proxies from there to disintegrate pakistan, we all knw how that turned out so now they wanna move on, they loose interest quickly these yanks like they did in vietnam, realization of failiure and quickly disengaging and undeniability has been americas greatest strengths..

Once I read (forgot the link) I think was NYT Writer or something like that Afghan Army is swimming with Generals whereby number was far superior than US Army (there forgot the number to remember) let alone other nations. It was emphasized that the ANA which has so & so numbers of Generals actually struggling for recruitment of soldiers.

Remember, Pakistan has been playing a major role for cooperation and mediation between many rival countries, to say. Pakistan has been providing venue and atmosphere to bring the parties at single table here read Pakistan efforts for US Official visit to China, Pakistan efforts to ease tension between Islamic countries as well and recently, Pakistan played a role to bring US, China and Russia together on the subject of Afghanistan.

This coordination of recent counter raid was not some sudden thing but every aspect is discussed and mutual agreed IMO otherwise, wouldn't be possible to do so effectively. National Interests and Diplomacy is to be played in wider aspects and larger goals. Most parties are slowly but gradually realizing the common threat whereby, a rival utilizing such threats for own cause, has now either withdraw or to face the aftermath as well. This is where from, IMO, the change is near if we keep the same pace and draw the line visibility and clearly. The new cooperation (Pakistan-China-Russia, Iran) are going to play major role for Afghan Peace so also, Russia urged to add India as well so when it comes to peace of neighbor and our own backyard, we have to sit together being serious to deal with common threat. In up-coming months or so, IMO, picture will be more clearer that who is playing with whom and which side that after all, will still favour us to at-least recognize the same.
