AEC finishes upgrading all Tornado jets with indigenous systems

Advanced Electronic Company one of the leading electronic systems manufacturing have finished installing indigenous Avionics, IFF and other Sub-system on RSAF Tornado jets with work finishing in July this year Dr.Shibl CEO of AEC said on a statement to the press: "We are proud to show our ability to manufacture the entire electronic package of RSAF Tornado jet in our own country we hope to continue this tradition in future programs as well".

Congratulations to Saudi Arabia, I welcome any progress in any Muslim country. Can you provide any news links or press release from AEC itself?

On a different note, I hope Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries strengthen your ballistic missile programmes indigenously and ultimately develop ICBM with MIRVs and develop nuclear-powered submarines with SLBMs. You should aim high because you hold importance to over 1.5 billion people.

By the way, I know you purchased missiles from China but that is not the same as developing your own missiles. Once you develop your own equipment, no foreign country can interfere with you. When you purchase from abroad, the foreigners always hold you hostage. For critical weapons systems, you can not rely on untrustworthy Western countries.

This is a different subject but it is about us installing our own Avionics in C-130s AW&Cs and L-100s (I assume you read Arabic because you once shared an article in Arabic).

This one about installing our own DataLink on our F-15s.

This one is about us sending our own boys to Boeing to learn how to manufacture and install DataLink systems on our AW&Cs As you can see the plan was to send a team of Saudis to Boeing to learn how to do these things on the first AW&Cs and then they completed the work on the others home. (This news is older but as you can see this thing bare fruits to our Aircraft industry).

I wish that AEC will try to develop more R&D facilities within KSA and hopefully will start to do JV with Italy or France on radar and IR/laser sensor so that they can produce weapons and other survelliance equipment.
