Nice place when its really hot elsewhere. The road though is dangerous. Its not that wide and alot of blind turns. Also the locals drive like morons and ud have to be very careful.

Many years ago went to Thandiani as a side trip from a
Science conference.. the place was beautiful.. and chilly in April..
What surprises me is that 8000+ feet at around 34+ latitude should be cooler in Thandiani than it seems even in August.. around where I'm in America.. a mountain at 6600+ feet with the about the same latitude is much cooler..
Anyway... I should scan the photos and save them for posterity.. Pakistan from three decades ago...
