Aasiya Andrabi calls for boycott of New Year celebrations in Kashmir, says it's part of RSS' plot

[INDIAPOSITIVE]

Srinagar:Separatist outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Monday asked people to stay away from New Year celebrations, alleging they were part of RSS' plan to export "lewd" culture into Kashmir.

"A night-long programme is being organised by some unknown group 'Kashmiryat' on 31 December at (famous ski resort of) Gulmarg. It is a cultural onslaught....these programs are being organised under an agenda devised by RSS to thrust upon Kashmir, the shameless and lewd culture of India," Chairperson of Dukhtaran Aasiya Andrabi said in a statement.

Andrabi said the program is being sponsored by few Urdu and English dailies and TV channels and in the name of art, music and comedy, "shameless" actors of Bollywood have been invited.

"It is a clear attempt to counter the Islamic ideology of Kashmiris," she said urging people to stay away from such programmes at any cost.

She said that the real culture of Kashmir is related to Islam where there is no place to celebrate events like new year.

"These events can be important for the 'Brahman' culture but they do not have any connection with Islam. This program is not a 'parwaaz' (flight) of Kashmir but the parwaaz of a vulture which is always destined towards filth," she said.

RSS itself opposes New Year celebration as it is Western. But who cares!! Now the latest trend is Celebration on WhatsApp. You Boycott or not, someone is going to wish you "Happy New Year" if you have even a mobile let alone smart phone. We @ranjeet @Imran Khan and other PDF(irrespective of nationality) drunkards need "bahana" to celebrate anything!!

i don't care that asiya andrabi is a "separatist" ( she is really not ) but she should have been arrested long back for turning kashmir into a oppressive environment... one must remember what became of kashmir's first and last all-female music group, pargaash.

asiya andrabi is no muslim.

and it is funny that she is accusing rss when rss is affiliated with groups like sri ram sena and bajrang dal and also shiv sena which have violently and coercively opposed such globalized celebrations like new year.

I have no problems with her, in fact she's more an asset than anything, especially in today's world where Islamic fundamentalism and jihadi terror is on everyone's mind.

Andrabi has been caught supplying men to ISIS, she is a perfect ISIS bride, best idea is to hand her over to the Kurds, look at the Kurdish women and this women such a contrast.
