What's new

Aasia Bibi's first interview after leaving Pakistan...

And what's the punishment for those who falsely accuse others of committing blasphemy? How about punishment for a Muslim that actually insults another religion? I await your answer...and I want YOUR answer, not the answer you heard from some mufti or molvi.
Such people deserve same punishment which they demand for others based on wrong accusition

He sits assure her security. The foreign office says that she is a free citizen of Pakistan and can do as she wishes. She wished to leave on her own accord. OBVIOUSLY she didn't have enough confidence in the writ of the state; the writ of the state MUST be asserted to the extent that every citizen will have full confidence that no one will challenge it.

Polay badsha.... did she really left on her own accord? Can people freely choose to immigrate on asylum reason and FIA would let them cross border?
no one have confidence on rit of state, does this means every one will get Canadian/ Australian/UK visa? It was a timely move by the enemies of Pakistan... to revive the case and exploit it to refresh image of Pakistan as fanatics. Today in every bus, train, house of east and west this news is being relayed in nicely organized way.
Pakistan will not change, it will remain a country working for the interests of enemies of very own Pakistan. It's Islamic by name, poor people of Pakistan have no brain time for understanding Islam.
If we knew Islam, our PM wouldn't be asking at OIC to go to war with west on blasphemy, about which case he didn't mentioned.

Blasphemy should only be punished by 1 1/2 year in prison just like happening in Indonesia.

I have suggested many years ago, that blasphemy title should be replaced with something.... attempt to create in disorder, no respecting society, etc. and than jail according to the level of potential.
1-5 years, but never call perpetrator as blasphemer.
It's BS. In Pakistan we order hanging till death, while Pakistani PM says it's not enough and we shall punish them for the blasphemies of their people.
Let me know, if you need video link of that speech.

Free will should have limits, when it effects the whole society /nation /human feelings.
My point is as well to the direction, that same PM who let her go, was in OIC demanding action against west for their blasphemous cartoons! hypocrisy internationalized.

Here begins western propaganda and hypocrisy. They will take this and twist the words. Trials and cases like these take a long time and even in western countries that's what they would tell you. "The system takes it's time" but when it comes to other countries then it becomes a danger to human rights.

Yes, I think this is being used for the furtherance of an anti-Islamic agenda.

I'm frankly not super familiar with this case and I know I'm kind of nitpicking here.... but I tried to read the Wikipedia article (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asia_Bibi_blasphemy_case)
and I am utterly confused by something..... first I read

"French journalist Anne-Isabelle Tollet [fr]assisted Noreen in writing a memoir titled Blasphemy: A Memoir: Sentenced to Death over a Cup of Water (2013, ISBN 1613748892).[46] Noreen is illiterate, and Tollet was unable to visit her directly due to prison restrictions."

then in another section I read

"The Supreme Court of Pakistan's ruling cited "material contradictions and inconsistent statements of the witnesses" that "cast a shadow of doubt on the prosecution's version of facts."[17]

Asia Noreen was reading the Christian Bible when she heard the news
, upon which..."

Okay, Wikipedia- which one is it??? Is she illiterate or was she reading the Bible????????????

To my understanding, Pompeo is a hardcore Zionist... I think there's a political agenda at play and one which apparently is amenable to Zionist interests..... if she did commit blasphemy, whatever the Sharia says should be followed.

This barbaric law has to die. Makes me sick to my stomach that innocent people are being jailed and put to death over words.

What about her 8 years wasted?? What about those liar women and that shaitan mullah who accused her? Shudnt they be punished? Pakistan unfortunately still has 2 systems. For powerful n rich the courts n system works so quickly and so leniently, can even get bail on medical reasons, can get AC, TV in jail but the poor, oh well see that ATM robber who died.

It was proved that she did not commit blasphemy but it was a ladies dispute in which some harsh words were exchanged to which the opposition lady used for her own benefit. THe opposition lady forced her to said negative remarks by descrediting Hazrat Issa A.S.

now she is proven non-guilty I feel we should be sensible enough to let her go free even in Pakistan

The accusers should be punished and get a 8 year sentence in return.. whoever is involved.. the HC judges as well..

Or, she should be compensated with money.. enough money that makes her happy..

This I am saying because our court has not found the blasphemy charges to be correct.. If she has really done that, it is now between Allah and herself. But how she is behaving in Canada, it seems she really didn't do any blasphemy.

She should be compensated..
