One of a traveler wrote in his book about Pakistan that "He saw Pakistan 20 miles away from Islamabad!". Look at the deep words screaming the reality of the fact that if Lahore has metro bus service and Islamabad has clear clean roads with grass and trees surrounding them. This is only 10% or less of the total population. They rest are living in slums, in mud houses. More and more people are getting educated but the situation is at stop and no good changes have been noticed in the past few years.

What do you think could be the reason and possibly be the solution to this?

Rich getting richer by sucking the blood of the poor. Once we tackle corruption, which will probably never happen, then things will change.

But right now the fuedals are holding the population under hostage.

Nah, I think it's west and Indian media propaganda to defame Pakistan.

why not do away with the feudal system?

Now the only option is to keep with the democracy. Let it run its course. Always coups take place(for better or worse) and the political parties claim that democracy was disrupted otherwise we would have done this or that by now. So give democracy time. Let it take firm hold and eventually we will see the result.
