You did not understand---.

It was ONE man who came up with the analysis / theory / idea / principals to begin with---the others followed the guideline---.

America is big on pushing and putting one leader upfront---the team takes a back seat---. There is always that one face of the project to lead.

Projects are made to fail---breakthroughs just don't come easy---.

It does not matter how great your idea is. If people around you do not recognize it what good is it. What good is an Einstein in Pakistan or Uganda.
You make it sound that people come up with great ideas in isolation. My best ideas in life have been refined by interactions with professional colleagues.
