آڈانی پورٹس جو کہ آڈانی صنعتی گروپ کا حصہ ہے کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ ''تجارتی ایڈوائزری'' پندرہ نومبر سے اس کے زیر کنٹرول اور تیسری پارٹی کے زیر کنٹرول ٹرمینلز پر لاگو ہوگی۔ آڈانی پورٹس کی جانب سے اس فیصلے کی وجہ نہیں بتائی گئی۔ تاہم یہ فیصلہ گزشتہ ماہ گجرات میں مندرا بندرگاہ پر دو کنٹینرز سے قریب تین ٹن ہیروئین پکڑے جانے کے بعد کیا گیا ہے۔

انتظامیہ کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ کنٹینرز افغانستان سے بھارت پہنچے تھے۔ ان میں موجود نشہ آور ہیروئن کی کل مالیت ڈھائی ارب ڈالر سے زیادہ ہے۔ بھارت کی حالیہ تاریخ میں حکام کی جانب سے تحویل میں لی جانے والی یہ سب سے زیادہ مالیت کی ہیروئن کی کھیپ ہے۔

بھارتی انتظامیہ نے ستمبر میں ہی گجرات کی بندرگاہ پر ایران سے آنے والی قریب بیس ملین ڈالر کی ہیروئین کی کھیپ پکڑی تھی۔ اس واقعہ میں ملوث چھ ایرانی شہریوں کو حراست میں لے لیا گیا تھا۔

I remember reading an article in the BBC or something a long time back where supposedly they interviewed a retired army officer who had been in Pakistan's nuclear forces command structure.

Anyways, a comment he made stuck with me and seems relevant. He said if it came to it that Pakistan was forced to use nuclear weapons against some foe (not India) and the end seemed close, Pakistan would nuke India as well just in case even if India wasn't involved.
