A Paradigm Shift- IAF vs PLAAF

.
Very true . And no is perfect Bro . Whole point of debate is to put forward their points as a rebuttal .

This is my point of view with the numbers which I have put forward . If it's wrong tell me know . Simple as that .

first thing the title should be airforce comparision btw china and india and secondly your 533 combat aircraft won't just go against 526 aircrafts in one day when a real war is fought there is also sam sites over there and than if in case a war is started with china your 533 combat aircrafts won't be sent to chinese border at once thirdly all depends upon strategy and if it's a good one than even the smallest of force can easily win against a much a larger foe so your's 533 doesn't matter much

. . .
IT already did :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Oh seriously . So how long do you think 800 J7s and J8s will be in service with PLAAF ? Till 2050 ?

This stats are not very hard to understand but may hard to digest ... For you may . As your last resort may be not that power full after all while comparing with IAF fleet . Now add abilities of fighters and Pilots . You get the big picture on what am talking about

That's what my point . Here I just dropped the numbers of obsolete jets like mig 21/27 J7s J8s . Any way these jets lost its charm in today's world . Hence I came up with the numbers and if you take future plans of both then both will be par with India having technological edge due to western and Russian original technology . And yes you are correct . All jets won't be sent at once . But it's depends upon strategy with what they have . So I concluded with numbers I have placed . Even in future Additional Rafale , AMCA FGFA teas MK2 will give clear edge not only in quality but in quantity as well . Since IAF already upgraded it's old fleet .

Mark my words the thread will create history
Thanks for your ot rant . But can you come up with explanation where I went wrong ?

This guy must have mixed his chai with opiates and then came here to post on PDF. The Issue is that almost all of China's planes are made in China and all of India's planes are imported. China is producing on mass the J-10B a plane with an AESA radar and the J-16 another plane with a AESA radar is about to go into production. China is currently testing 2 stealth fighters and has a workable turbofan engine in production the WS-10. Against all that India has barely started to produce the Tejas a light fighter with 40% foreign components. So if there is a race then its China that's leaving India further and further behind.

Your posts always "speak volume" if you know what I mean...

Says the guy named Dalit . And you just created world record . Read full article in just 4 sec . How you did that ? Any secret ?

The J-7 and J-8's will be phased out and replaced with much more capable fighters like the J-10 and J-11B in the past, the J-10B and the J-16 at the present and the J-20 and perhabs the J-31 in the future.

.
strong economy is the biggest factor ...later army comes

Very Optimistic article.

There is a considerable gap between India and China . India suffers from poor maintenance and lack of crucial parts. where as China already has successfully integrated ws10 and ws13 engines.

The real deal is not what the countries have right now, it is how many the country can produce when war breaks out , makes the difference.

Chinese have clear advantage because of home grown products and production lines.

"China produce all it jets and India buys from West/Russia"

Now you know the outcome of a war . And why is it even matter if India import or China export in a real war ? Do explain

And on New induction yes China will induct new fighter So does India . That too most advanced jets like Rafale which will be a clear winner over Tibet for sure . If China induct 2 variants of 5 th gen fighters so does India. BETTER ONE INDEED . Like FGFA and AMCA both are largely helped by Russians . So what ? It makes it a lesser fighter ? Capability is what matters not paper specs .

My point is this : How will China replace 800 soviet era jets ? Do u even have a answer ? That too ripoff when Chinese aerospace technology was so poor that what it is now .

That's a good point you have made . But at the end of the day they have very large fleet which runs of imported spares from engine to critical components . So we will have wait how there engine will be in real terms. They are working on this engine technology for many decades now . Even if you take our ToT for GE 414 same can be said for IAF too . But you can't take this as a cue . Because when war breaks out IAF top priority will be to destroy these manufacturing industries . So it may just vanish in days of war .Which is very much possible but not 100% . Still possible .

So I stuck with the current fleet . In future jets on both countries again India can easily match in number with good quality .

India needs time to catch up with China, China's defense budget is very huge and they can buy, maintain and develop technologies.

Very true. That's my point too. But Hoe many ? And in how many years ?

Just be rational . If you want to induct 800 J7s J8s replacement even if you cut the cut the size into half . It still stands at 400 needed ...

In your best knowledge how long it will take for China to catch up with its own numbers do you think ? And on other side India will mass produce Tejas and FGFA.
