‘A Muslim cannot teach us our religion’: Sanskrit professor goes into hiding in India

.
Its India's internal problem. Had he been a Hindu in Pakistan teaching Arabic, we would have seen the same reaction.

.
Funny how some Pakistanis are trying to claim sanskrit, despite the fact that not a single notable piece of Sanskrit literature was composed in modern-day Pakistan.

.
Yes? Ghandahara was which is ancient Pakistan. It's our history and out people. Same people different country name. So it's a Pakistani language.
Which you conveniently parted away with. Either you align yourself with Middle eastern culture or subcontinent culture specially when both of these culture are opposite to each other in some of the major teachings

Coming to topic, this is stupidity of highest order showcase by few in BHU who are trying to see everything from the prism of religion. Hope there are some sane minds there who allow this learned fellow to be part of BHU. I something wonder how can famous hindu or muslim poets or saints of the past could live in present world of extremism when no one is ready to allow others to learn different culture/language/religion.

If these people are so against about appointment of a Muslim teacher for a language then these same people should leave this country as we had Abdul kalam as our president who happened to be a teacher, scholar, scientist, and vivid reader of Gita/Quran/Vedas and other religious text books. Wish I had a power of Thanos Snap with refinement where in I can select people of specific mentality to be vanished or disappear.

you have worthless ego that you're always right is just ridiculous

How can we parted from it as it is situated in modern day Pakistan? We are their direct descendants. They are our race, our blood. Modern day indians have NO genetic, DNA or racial connections to that civilisation.

Anyways....the issue has been resolved, Other student unions came in support of teacher and even RSS has supported the teacher.
And no, the teacher didnt go into hiding, he sent a letter to the VC of BHU that he is going to his village....

Is there any Sanskrit work happening in Pakistan at the moment? Also Sanskrit is more or less is linked with Hinduism as it is only available in hindu texts. I dont see or heard of any other religion where Sanskrit is/was used. If you have some reference, I will be happy to go through it.

Who invented It though? Where does the archaeological evidence point to? Which country contains the relics of that ancient civilisation and past? Who are the progeny of those races and peoples?

Yet those who invented it and their ancient remains are found in modern day Pakistan.......:azn:
Black West indians read, write and speak English, yet they did not invent it. If modern day Brits stopped speaking English and adopted another alphabet does it mean that Black West Indians can then adopt the English language, culture and heritage and claim it as their own?..........

Got any evidence for that? The oldest examples of written Sanskrit are the inscriptions at Ayodhya and gosundhi Hathibada.

Not sure about Pakistan but this shouldn't have been a problem at all in the first place. A muslim guy learning Hindu culture and teaching it should be encouraged by the Hindus themselves. How do you expect "Ghar wapsi" if you are not welcoming them in your fold. I've known many non-muslims in India who read about Islam and reverted to Islam and went on to become Islamic scholars and preachers. And all of them were welcomed by the community, infact their movement was facilitated by muslims themselves.

Totally agree with you, if you are a rational person. Is our general public rational????? My answer is no. We are all extremely jazbati people. First we kill each other than we write poems "lali akhiya dey kandi ai, roy tusi ve say roy asi ve aa"
