he was the head of KHAD during soviet occupation of afghanistan and maimed , tortured many innocent afghanis . he was also instrumental and behind many bombings in pakistan in mujahir camps and peshawar during the 80s.

when soviets were kicked out of Afghanistan, they abandoned this man behind and he became president of Afghanistan. he famously used to boast that he would capture all of NWFP till attock and make pakhtoonistan .

fast forward to 1996, the afghan talibs enter kabul and capture the city, doctor najeeb ( now begging india to take him ) is hiding in a UN compound when talibs drag him out like a dog , shoot him in the head, castrate him and hang him by the pole for 3 days

Irony is it was Dostam militia who was controlling air port premises... najeeb wanted to board the plane but was refused by them.. I hope Taliban won't do anything stupid now at least publicly and reconciliation will be done.
