I think you are living at least 5 years behind time. Open defecation is as good as eradicated now.

Your allegation on the corona outbreak being blamed on Muslims is a convenient generalization. The spike in the outbreak over recent days has been caused due to the Tableeghi Jamaat congregation in Nizamuddin, followed by several members of the TJ travelling to various parts of the country, knowing fully well that it could lead to disastrous consequences. Look around on PDF, there is even a clip of the Mullah giving members some genius advice too.

In toto, it's not ALL Muslims to blame, just the stupid people (including people from other communities too) who chose to ignore the government's warning and set off on their merry way in the name of religion.

What does open defecation got to do with religion??
Sanitary issue especially lack of household toilets afflict poor people irrespective of religion. You would agree, many Indian Muslims are also like many poor Hindus, do those muslims have toilets at home?

Obviously not. Indian forums and discussions/discourse are seldom known for their adherence to facts. This forum isn't a feel good circle jerk.

We are living here and are well aware of the ground realities and changes.

I am not saying that you are not. My doubts are with your willingness to disclose and admit the said realities.

I have. Will not shy away from admitting that it is no where near good enough. Nor is there anything being done about it. Still, it is no where near the situation in India.
