Mani can understand an empathize about the dentist visit. Dentists --- never really liked going for dental visits. It was never a fun experience for me, i just don't like the sight of a person inserting a needle or sharp objects into my mouth.

Yeah I love my dentist... not literally, but she's really cute, goes to my gym too, we're friends. But there's something about someone poking and prodding and yanking things in my mouth that sees me cancel my dental appointment our of mortal terror.

This is my mental picture of dentists in general:

Lucky!!! Online shopping is far better than in store, cheaper, and less dangerous too. Fortunately for us Black Friday is being replaced by Cyber Monday, but even that's losing its luster due to a lack of good deals or discounts. *sigh* back to Black Friday I guess.

Although we know each other from Internet, we did meet when I traveled in Nanjing. Mr. Birdy's campus is right at the foot of that mausoleum hill. I think for him going to that tomb is like Americans go to Starbucks. lol

When i was still an undergraduate college student back in Japan, i did a report on Dr. Sun Yat Sen. It was an independent research paper for my China Modern History course i took in the summer of my 3rd year. It was a 35 paged research report, if only you can read Japanese, i could forward you a copy of it. Let me just say that i consider Dr. Sun Yat Sen as one of the many heros for Asia during the turn of the 20th century. There are 3 leaders in Asia who i revere for their Enlightenment Thinking and Revolutionary Spirit:

a) Dr. Sun Yat Sen of China

b) Dr. Jose P. Rizal of Philippines

c) Attorney Mahatmas Gandhi of India
