Musharraf's era had just as much corruption Sir. It is just that is was better hidden, that is all.

My point made above was the IK is regarded as naive for his claims of reducing corruption so quickly, for good reasons.

You might wanna check the figures of Transparency International then?

I agree that 90 days are enough for setting directions and priorities, yes.

But for IK claims to halving corruption in 9 days (Geo story above) or eliminating it in 90 days (The Economist story above) or even "greatly reducing" corruption in 90 days (HN's video above) all sound patently silly. Sorry.

Funny that you ignored my argument of less corruption during Musharaff's era as compared to the current PPP Govt and cherry picked my reply. Anyways, to each his own.

By the way,what you term as emotionalism, is a hope for us Pakistanis in times when the generation before us gave us nothing and failed this country to no limits!

I did not ignore that part, but I did not respond to it because it would take the discussion into the past, instead of where it belongs: the present and the future.

It is good to hope. I wish all these Pakistani hopes come true. Good Luck!
