A documentary film about the operation "Bagration"

. . .
For the sake of convenience, this is the full documentary with English narration:

A must-watch for anyone who would like to learn more about the major campaigns of the Eastern front. Personally I'm not a fan of the CGI'd vehicles, aircraft and artillery pieces however and the accents of the Landsers are somewhat... cringeworthy to my ears.

Just finished watching the videos. It was awesome.
The element of surprise which brought about the calamitous defeat for Germans changed the course of history.
From the Russian generals to the sappers, who unscrewed the mines, made sure their operation remained a secret.

@AUSTERLITZ @jhungary
have you guys done a thread on this? just curious. :)

The only thing i always loved about this is the CGI. Did they made any other series like this, on Pacific front or north African campaign?

No.But this battle did more damage to wehrmacht than normandy in same year.It is the greatest defeat in german history in terms of losses.In this campaign we see the red army juggernaut in its final phase in terms of evolution from the rabble of 1941 to a battle hardened,well equipped,well led mammoth steamroller.
