A Coincidence or a Deliberate Act?

I am very much aware of this practice, but I don't know how you concluded that I wasn't aware of it, my dear, this is also a tradition in Punjab, in fact it is practiced all most all over the world, it's based on common sense, and it is not some top-secret Pashtun tradition that nobody is aware of. :D

In my previous post I was criticizing Nek Mohammad for bragging and the way he was throwing cheap shots at the government after the deal, though technically speaking the bastard was hundred percent right, and that¡¯s why in my first post in this thread I said ¡°Although I do not think Shakai agreement was a peace treaty, in my opinion, it was a shameful surrender by our government, but that discussion is for some other time.¡±

Why I think it was a surrender:

The military establishment made many blunders, after badly losing the battles in the towns of Kaloosha and Shin Warsak at the hands of foreign terrorists and local traitors, it made a very disgraceful and a horrible decision by sending Gen. Safdar Hussain to Nek Mohammad place and garlanding him, making this former car thief and a foot soldier of Afghan-Taliban a hero overnight, releasing several hard-core terrorists, paying the terrorists including Nek Mohammad millions of rupees, and in return the government got nothing but a black face, nothing surprising there, that's exactly what you get when you try to negotiate from the position of weakness.

The government gave him one week to surrender foreign terrorists, but it waited for almost 2 months before it rightfully decided to revoke the amnesty, but meanwhile the government in that two-month period encouraged the tribal leaders to find a solution and try to resolve the issue, but when even the tribal leaders failed to convince Nek Mohammad and his terrorists buddies, the government had enough.

As soon as the government announced that it was revoking the amnesty, it was Nek Mohammad who declared war on the government and attacked and killed almost 30 security forces jawans.
Through his actions, it was quite clear that Nek Mohammad had joined the global jihadist (Al Qaeda, Uzbek and Chechen terrorist) to kill his countrymen, the tribal system was of no use to him.

In the towns of Kaloosha and Shin Warsak bloodsucking traitors like Nek Mohammad had joined hands with foreign terrorists (Al Qaeda, Uzbek and Chechen terrorist) to kill his own civilian and security forces jawans ¡°almost 50 soldiers in 12 days of fighting were killed¡±, source: the scorpion¡¯s tail by Zahid Hussain.

But, I'm a little surprised why an ultra-nationalist Pashtun have a soft corner for a global jihadist?

I think you need to update yourself, he was no hero but a bloodsucking traitor just like Baitullah Mehsud, Fazlullah, Waliur Rahman and Hakimullah Mehsud just to name a few.

Al Qaeda activist arrested in murder of Benazir case prosecutor

Mubashir Zaidi

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested an alleged al Qaeda activist involved in the killing of Chaudhry Zulfiqar, prosecutor in Benazir Bhutto murder case, who was killed in Islamabad last month when was on his way to attend the court proceedings of the case.

Highly placed sources in police confirmed to Dawn.com that they have arrested Abdullah Umar, who they claimed was also involved in attack on a military mosque in December 2009 resulting in the killing of more than 37 people.

Police claims that Umar got injured when Zulfiqar’s FC guard Farman fired on the attackers who were riding a motorcycle accompanied by accomplices in a taxi cab. Abdullah Umar is the son of a retired military colonel Khalid Abbasi who was court-martialed for his links with al Qaeda in 2003 and dismissed from service. He now lives in Murree.

According to police, Umar who received three bullets by the guard of Zulfiqar went to District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi and told doctors that he was fired upon by dacoits. Later he was shifted to a private hospital. He also registered a false FIR saying that he was fired upon by dacoits.

Police found his clue from the pistol and his mobile phone which were dropped at the site when he was whisked away by his accomplices in a taxi. One of the eye witnesses noted the taxi number which was traced to be registered in Gujranwala. The owner of the car told police that he rented it to a person from Mandi Bahauddin whose ID card turned out to be counterfeited.

But he incidentally left his thumb impression and signature on the deal signed with the taxi driver. The thumb impression was verified by NADRA and police arrested a person from Mandi Bahauddin who later told police about Abdullah Umar as the mastermind of Chaudhry Zulfiqar’s assassination.

Police finally arrested Umar from a private hospital in Rawalpindi three days ago and he is currently in critical condition at a government hospital under tight security.

Police on Thursday obtained a 14-day remand of Umar from an anti-terrorism court and are currently interrogating him.

like I said they dont want peace in the region, what are they to lose?

or is it that both afghan and pakistani taliban are one with two faces USA knows this so does Saudia , Afghanistan Pakistan and china

now the question is why is pakistan reluctant to aknowledge this fact ....if you dont want to own your responsibilties and correct your mistakes and treat your enemy like enemy then how are you going to fight it and bring peace

have you ever heared , seen or aprihanded any sciucide bomber / terrorist who is indian /american ....answer is no they are all muslims from pakistan well instead of labelling every one but yourself correct your notions and be honest to your self other wise there is nothing you could do about USA but if this attitude prevails you will certainli loose USA and west sympathy and friendship intoxicate the minds of the common man in pakistan which will make him look answers for the false questions result well your already reaping what you sowed ...good luck for future

Personally I am very glad that Wali Ur Rehman, a fearsome militant is now dead. But I still am wary of the intentions behind the killing and the timing of the incident. Instead if Hakimullah Mehsud was killed it would have been very useful for #Pakistan

Mark my words, all the circumstantial evidence shows that his killing was a joint venture between US and Pakistan and the time will prove it.
