Whats wrong with sparrows there is an explosion of sparrow population in most Pakistani cities what better way to control them then making them our breakfast,lunch and dinner

Just for the record i havent consumed a sparrow in months there are sparrows in Islamabad metro cash and carry but the look really old they wont taste good

Don't go for birds in urban areas, they are often "infected" by poisonous fumes from the air and through drinking industrial poison. There's a reason why people don't go on eating feral pigeons.

I think it is again a protected bird here. People hunted them indiscriminately. I ate something similar a few times. Lark (in eastern UP ).
Btw, you should try crab soup or shark meat. Delicious, both of them. ..
