I find it funny when a Malaysian comes and teaches us true meaning of democracy and national integrity

Being a democracy for the sake of democracy ? Do you know the purpose of democracy ?



United being what ? India do not even have a national language. One caste ? In my opinion, India has not achieve national unity.
You have the unresolved Kashmir problems, the growing Maoist insurgency and NE separatists.... just to mention a few.



Talk about GDP in PPP by all means. But never ignore real GDP.

Dictatorship ends in a bad way in a diverse country like India. Every country can not replicate China. Please think before making a statement. No one said our democracy is best or perfect.But maintaining fair elections in a vast country like India with such a poverty and illiterate people for 6 and half decades is a tremendous achievement. You are prejudiced against India and you dont see anything positive.

We are united despite the odds of not having a single language and singular culture. Are you that dumb to understand.

Maoist insurgency and NE separatists do not have support from people. Their influence is decreasing day by day. Maoists and separatists are criminal than supporting people.

India remains united despite all the odds which you could think of. And thats the achievement every one is mentioning.

the purpose of democracy is to make all stakeholders believe that they have a stake in the country. Like a business where everybody is shareholder.
Theoritically that means all stakesholder take ownership of the business and are responsible for success or failure.

Of all other forms of governing ourself, we find it most acceptable to all.
