Deobandia are a minority in Pakistan, and that school of thought isn't followed much outside of india, even though the deobandis claim to follow the Hanafi school, but that is a different discussion altogether.

The Salafis are even a smaller minority. I'd say they are less in numbers than the Shias.

Muslims would have been second class citizens in India, just as they are, and just like the dalits are.
