63% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck — including nearly half of six-figure earners

The world needs the Chinese to provide their cheap labor to produce goods. Look at how well the Chinese economy has progressed, clearly. The facts speak for themselves.
Indeed, since China are doing such a great favor for USA and slave labour for American. May I know why US sanction and place tariffs on Chinese goods? Isnt cheaper the better for American? I thought we are slave and you are happy? Care to tell me? And your US committee recommend to remove the tariffs.

Or are actually Chinese workers at US worker expense, eating their lunch? :enjoy:
No wonder US is on decline becos most of US citizens are brainless and living in their fantasy.

But but but...

If the price of the good is USD 100.

Using another currency, the price is still USD 100.
Sorry, if you replace with rmbs with your finance system of central bank, the product is price in rmb. who told u is USD 100? You make that up? Before you tell me the nonsense of nobody want rmb, you can use that to trade for made in China of world factory. Commodities is key to your value of your currency. Do u need washing machine? Do you need car? Do you need smartphone. You need.

You really missing out that smooth relaxing leather Couch.
Don't know what kinda sofa is 4 k worth?

My massage sofa is less then 1k

Depends.

I earn around 50,000 US when I was working for the Kansas Police. Which is roughly the same amount here. But I pay around 25k AUD tax here, back in US, I pay less than 10K (because I served and have veteran benefit, so I got less tax)

On the other hand, a normal 3 bedder in Australia is about 750,000-1 million AUD. The same house in US suburb is seldom more than 340,000 USD (around 500,000 AUD)

So, if you ssat on your arse and do nothing and collect the 550/fornight here in Oz, yes, that's better off, because US unemployment is shit, but if you work, a lot of money goes to your government in Oz
Not everyone is veteran.
On 50 K more then half of it goes to state, federal, social security, property tax and health care premiums.

Once u r done the other other half goes to your mortgage.

And yes houses are more then 350,000 k in USA ..not seen a new house cheaper than that..
Average median price of USA home for 2000 square feet is 400,000

We all know China is so stlong that tariffs do not harm it, so what is the problem here? :D

Oh your concern for American welfare is so heartfelt, but it is not fooling anyone. :D

We want to keep american healthy so that they can buy more Chinese products. Is that difficult to understand? :enjoy:

That is fine, since it means Chinese and American interests align. :D

I don't pay health care as I use VA. Also I don't know which state you live in State Tax in Kansas is quite low. A fellow cop of mine who is a non-Veteran and live alone and have no rebate ceiling only pay around 12k tax on a 54k salary.

Vet get maybe 10% break from Federal Income Tax, they don't take 50% off....lol

Tax in the US is a lot more affordable than tax in Australia no matter how you compare it...

Ordinary citizens who make 60k in most states pay.

Social security at around 7%
State tax 3-10%
Insurance premiums 600-1000/ month.
Federal tax around 15-20%
Property tax on morgatate and local taxes, school, city etc 2-3% of property value.

At end of day the tax away is 30k.

I know this because before I became a attending that was my take home
