Fielded in 1954, still is on of the most widely used long range systems in the world.

I was going to refer this but you beat me to it!!Anyways,one of the best medium weight towed artillery pieces the world has ever seen.It's really sad that the GoI didn't go ahead and bought the license production of this wonderful artillery piece in the late 80s-early nineties!!Still the Indian Army ended up induction more than 1200 of these beasts in their inventory!!
