5 NATO troops killed in helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan – The NATO-led military coalition in Afghanistan says five of its troops have been killed in a helicopter crash in the country's south.

The coalition said it was investigating the circumstances of the crash but gave no other information. The nationalities of those killed were not released.

They have been identified as British personnel. Flying in a Lynx helicopter.
Most probably on recon or Special Op mission, the area they were flying was close to the Pakistani border.
