i have been given an assignment to find atleast 5 latest technologies concerning military/ airforce or navy wpns/ eqpt...... remember technologies not eqpt... timely response from senior member of PDF will be appreciated...

FLIR- Forward Looking IfraRed-this is optical technology

EMALS - Electromagnetic aircraft launching system

IFF- identification of friend and foe - this technology lets you identify if the target being tracked is a friend or hostile

HMCS-Helmet mounting cueing systems - this technology lets you project the scenario around you in the helmet.

In most cases the equipment is the technology. So i am not sure what you exactly want.

IFF is not fully operational due to measures it has adopted until the devices attach with the friends out of intelligence network, where signal languages are utilize by same groups...
