5,000 years on, the Yellow Emperor still a unifying force

The words "pray" or "worship" is this regard are incorrect. In the English Language, these two words have a different meaning to what is intended.

It is more accurate to say it is "paying homage" or "showing respect".

It is more accurate to say it is "paying homage" or "showing respect".

Yep, it's like "Ancestor Veneration". When we bow three times in front of our ancestor's graves during the Qingming Festival, etc.

Which is related to the Confucian concept of "Filial piety".

In hindsight, these words/phrases do end up sounding quite strange in English.
