Aam Aadmi Party gave tickets for money, says Shanti Bhushan

AAP co-founder and former law minister Shanti Bhushan hit out at the Delhi CM-designateArvind Kejriwalon Wednesday alleging that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) traded tickets for money.

The 89-year-old, co-founder of AAP congratulated the party on its victory but said he won't celebrate. "I am very happy with the victory. Won't celebrate because the leadership has strayed from its objectives," he said. He also added that he will not congratulate Arvind Kejriwal and as he has strayed from the IAC path.

Bhushan expressed disappointment saying that AAP traded tickets for money and distributing liquor. He said, "15-20 MLAs are not fully clean. Kejriwal must also be regretting taking them in the party."

Taking a dig at the leadership of the party, Bhushan said AAP leaders should make course correction and refuse taking tainted MLAs as ministers.

On the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) poor performance in Delhi Assembly elections, Shanti Bhushan said the party lost because it made false promises and failed to deliver on black money.

"Modi failed to check Sakshi Maharaj, Yogi Adityanath and Sadhvi Prachi. He should have spoken," he said.

Isn't like even BJP members had loads of criminal cases against them?

There should be a law, that unless all criminal cases are cleared one cannot be part of Government or take up federal employment.

That was considered & rejected because anyone can file a complaint even if there is no basis. In mainstream political parties, pretty much everyone has cases filed against them by the opposition, that's why you see a skewed reading on the number of representatives with criminal cases. I'm not familiar with the cases against AAP MLA's, one needs a better reading of the nature of the cases filed.

Yes, they do. But AAP's entry into politics is based on the promise of giving 'clean' politics. It is one their founding principles. Apparently they have forgotten it

Filing a case is different. But if the authorities are working on it, for example there are court proceedings going on, then it surely is a legitimate case. Criminal cases are not your small petty things like a parking violation, driving over the speed limit but more like rape, murder, intention to murder, accomplice, terrorism, kidnapping, extortion etc.

I'm not really sure what this suggests. If you have a house in your name in any metro, you probably are worth a few crores.

but they have a problem if other have same figure on their net worth .

According some aaptards here modi whose total assets in worth 1.5 crore is corrupt .
