44% Increase in Software Exports & 24.75% in Pharmaceuticals

. .
Two very important sector with huge potential...
But outsing india will be challenge
I Think following Angela Merkel remark about India’s Pharmaceuticals export were there because EU “allowed” it, might have some some bumps on the road. Many European countries will start their own vaccine production and thereby not buy it from India anymore.

let’s see what happens.

Or they will diversify imports to not depend on 1-2 country anymore.

Two very important sector with huge potential...
But outsing india will be challenge
Since you brought India

Generic drugs, with 71% market share, form the largest segment of the Pharmaceutical industry in India. This is set to grow as exports of generics to the US rise, as branded drugs worth $55 bn will become off-patent during 2017-2019. In the domestic market by revenue, Anti-Infectives (13.6%), Cardiac (12.4%) and Gastrointestinal (11.5%) had the biggest market share.

Pakistani Software related exports have increased by 44%
Pharmaceutical exports are up by 24.75%

The reality is that this will only grow if Pakistani companies and individuals working in this sector work with integrity and honesty. I have seen far too often in the UK when work is outsourced to Pakistan it is outstanding for the first few orders etc and then the lack of QA or just utter selfishness on the part of Pakistani companies and individuals destroys their reputations. In fact the effect is not just on them but other Pakistani companies as well suffer due to some bad eggs.

Short term thinking needs to be changed to long term thinking and client retention - Pakistani companies are very lacking in both.
