India being a big power and all is a farce - While Dacca fell in 1971, India's Kandhar surrender took place in 1999. And that too under the kattar nationalist party the BJP which is cited for conducting the nuclear explosions and making India a nuclear power. Pakistanis should tell the Indians that they have surrendered while being a nuclear power against an enemy which did not even have a country to identify with.

In Dacca it was a mere general who surrendered. In Kandhar it was the Indian Foreign Minister who presented himself representing the people of India, for the surrender to a rag tag militia group.

Just like Awami thugs lying with staright face. Look at post 62, 64, 65, 68 on page 5. If they had done corruption Awami League has full responsibility to try them. But 4 years on Awami League did nothing to bring them to book. What does that tell rest of us - big Awami hoax. On the other hand

1) Awami League looted billions of dollars from stock market and banrupt millions investors.
2) Awami League looted 4 thousand crore taka from Sonali bank alone
3) Awami League minister Suranjit caught read handed with graft money from appointment
4)Beacuse of Awami Leaue graft Padma bridge funding stopped and in two years Bangladesh lost $2.75 billion GDP loss
5) Destiny which has association with Sheikh Rehana family and Hasina defense advisor looted thousands of crore taka.

no one is defending anyone, i am just pointing out that BNP is just that corrupted too

@ You are completely wrong. BNP is corrupt there is no doubt but Awami Leaque's corruption is beyond limit.

@ AL always think that it is their right to do corruption as the country is being liberated by them. During Pakistan's time every one had a greedy look including Sh Mujibur Rahman on the properties of the non-Bengalise. The house of 32 Road at Dhanmondi had being gifted by (probably)Ishphani as people says. Every month Sh Mujib used to get a huge "Hafta" from these non-Bengalise industrialist. They used to give a huge amount of "Chanda" to Sk Mujib and his party. Finally these people gave him a job of CEO of an Insurence Coy at Dacca belongs to 22 families. He used to sit in his Coy office and do politics. If I am not wrong the present Head Office of AL was the place of that particular insurence Coy.

@ Sk Mujib was a very vindictive man. He wanted to take over the main Head Office of Muslim Leaque in those days. In those days the main office of Muslim Leaque was to be at Shahbag. Soon after Liberation he quickly seized the office of Muslim Leaque and made a master plan for the extension of PG Hospital.

@ During Pakistan's times Sh Mujib was the King of East Pakistan when ever he was out of the jail. Even in 1970 Sk Mujib nominated two/three non-Bengali MP's and one such MP (probably) from Dacca was elected. Even whenever he used to visit in West Pakistan, all his expences used to bear by particular group of people.

@ These these were patronized by the "Bihari" as well as the West Pakistani industrial group with the hope that Sk Mujib would protect them. But "Afsush" he never did it. Even during the time of struggle,(9 months) Sk Mujib's family used to get financial help from Fuzlul Kader Chow( Head of Convention Muslim Leaque) and his son Salauddin Kader Chow used to come at Dacca and met many a time with Sk Hasina. Sk Mujib had a dream to make Salauddin Kader Chow as son-in-law but Salauddin rejected it.
