@Zarvan I never anticipated that you of all people would fill this forum with indian cow dung!

Lol..Come out of your fantasy....There is no such thing called Terrorist Launchpads...Infiltration is not like launching a spaceship to an orbit from a single fixed point...!
Dumb people...!
Its a dumb assumption terrorists aren't rockets that would require launchpads wtf

One doesn't need a launchpad to insert rebels or special forces, it can be done at any point on LOC , launpad as a word is used to play with minds of indian public !!!

They shud be re branded as brain fart reliese pads

Pakistan should start using sling shot launch pads, Cannon type launch pads are very visible.

Why would they keep as such thing called launchpad, so close to border? So that they be easily targeted? And killed before infiltration?? Ridiculous.. Probably excuse for india to hit civilians and then chest thumping that it targeted terrorists
Jokes aside, it makes sense. India had Forward Policy.

Tiny pickets - empty during the day and occupied at night. They have only signal equipment and some arms cache. They are cheap, numerous and accessible. Absolutely necessary for any cross border incursion. In fact if Pakistan does not have them, it would should their inexperience. It is vital. Call it a launch pad or anything else, it is absolutely indispensable.

JAMMU: The Army's military intelligence (MI) in Jammu and Kashmir has spotted at least four terror launch pads of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) across the international border (IB). The launch pads are less than five kilometres from border outposts in the Samba region, where heavy shelling by Pakistan's troops killed six people on Tuesday.

Sources said that, according to an MI report, the launch pads had been spotted at Masroor Bada Bhai, Sukhmal, Chapral and Looni. One of them is located just opposite the BSF BOP (border outpost) at Paharpur in Kathua's Hiranagar sector. According to the report, heavily armed men dressed in camouflage had been seen getting dropped at Pakistan's Nur-ul-Islam BOP via Masroor Bada Bhai.

It added that, after the Army's surgical strikes on September 29, terror commanders had changed their location from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) to the territory across the international border in the Jammu region. The aim was to avoid detection by India's thermal imagers and mini unmanned aerial vehicles.

MI sources said the four launch pads were set up by Lashkar-e-Taiba nearly two years ago, but were not operational as Lashkar did not send infiltrators to Jammu. Sources said the MI's disclosures were also corroborated in the interrogation report (IR) of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed's associate Abdul Qayoom, a resident of Sialkot district, who was arrested last month from the Jammu region.
The IR said Saeed's Jamaat-ud-Dawa had been sending its men to launch pads to explore Jammu as a possible target of terror activities. "Radicalisation is being hammered into them (militants) by showing them Indian outposts and videos of violence in Kashmir. Their commanders have just changed locations from Azad Kashmir areas across the IB. Everything else remains the same," said a defence official.
The launch pads across the border offer two training exercises, Daura-e-Aam and Daura-e-Khas, to prepare militants for terror strikes like those witnessed in Uri, Dinanagar and Pathankot.

OK this is beyond stupid, and really not worth replying to, but it seems Indians are still falling for obvious propaganda.

First of all, heavily armed men in camouflage being dropped off at a border observation post. hmmm, i wonder who they could be. :hitwall:

Secondly, there is no reputable source for this information, its apparently from people leaking a military intelligence report to the press, and if that is the case then India has a much bigger issue if intel can just be leaked without repercussions.

Thirdly, TimesofIndia is not a reliable newspaper at all, so I dont understand why this was even posted here to begin with. infact the first paragraph of the article states that Pakistan shelled and killed 6 people, which has no relevance to the article and is literally just there to fill up empty news, and get people riled up.

Finally, what kind of reputable journalist publishes such an incomplete article and expects people to actually believe it? Of course judging by the last month of reporting Indians are incredibly gullible, but to the rest of the world you just make yourselves look like idiots when everyday you publish attack articles against Pakistan. The homepage of TimesofIndia is currently also filled with warmongering against China too.

Its depressing that you people are okay with your newspapers doing this, and fall for this crap over and over again.
