So it started suddenly after a record 2019 recruitment year? How can this guy list 4 reasons and miss the obvious #5 which he actually casually mentions with a brief snapshot but doesn't realize its importance.

Lots of shortages going on in America. Teachers crisis, nursing crisis, recruitment crisis and sometime ago people were resigning from their jobs en masse. But it doesn't matter because they'll import more people. Millions around the world will join if America were to create a foreign legion of their own like France, in return of citizenship.

This is a better problem to have than massive unemployment and poor economy.

Apparently, you don't get the same number of perks you use to get in the 1990s and 2000s/2010s for joining the american military. They use to pay for all your university education and you were almost always guaranteed a well paid government jobs upon leaving the us military. Apparently that doesn't happen anymore.

Let the mexicans join, pretty sure they will eagerly join for decent salary and legal status

Besides, why need people when most if not all is automated, drones, missiles etc, why need people as all your enemies are in Asia

US Army giving ads in Craigslist to look for recruits, in Canada...!

They are known to recruit illegal immigrants & offer them status. Al-Jazeera did a piece on that...

In Fahrenheit 911 they were walking around malls trying to recruit...
