KABUL (Pajhwok): Four people, most civilians, were killed and 66 others wounded in militants attack on Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Military Hospital in capital Kabul on Wednesday, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said.

Syed Ismael Kawasi, public relation officer of the MoPH, told Pajhwok Afghan News the injured had been shifted to Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan and Emergency Hospitals.

Men were among the dead while women, a child and nine men were injured, he added.

But Gen. Dawlat Waziri, spokesman for the Ministry of Defence (MoD), said two people, including an attacker, were killed and three others wounded in the attack.

Earlier, three terrorists forced their way into the hospital after one detonated himself at the northern gate of the facility, said MoD statement.

Waziri said the assailants who wore doctors’ uniform reached to the second and third floor of the hospital and started firing.

Daesh also known as Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack.

If Afghanis feel joyed when Indian/Afghani-supported terrorists attack schools, markets, and mosques in Pakistan, these idiots then should know that the terrorists are really terrorists. They hit any and every one their masters/handlers want. It is no secret that the terrorist IS was created and supported by the enemies of Islam. These terrorists are trained and brainwashed to kill innocent Muslims. That's what they are doing. What sympathy Hindus and Christians would have for Muslim blood. The best way for Afghan government deal with the menace of terrorism is to seriously cooperate with Pakistan to wipe out the IS from the region. It is a mystery how IS is able to spread its tentacles in this region so rapidly and effectively. There must be a really power secret hand doing that.

Unlike other terrorist organizations ISIS generates it funding by taxing the land it hold. With the land decreasing in Syria and Iraq ISIS needs new pockets of control. ISIS and JUA both partnered and were eyeing to support their network from Sawat and Kunar region but they forgot that Pakistan has a very well developed army and not their friendly neighborhood average joe. When Pakistan closed it border and wiped out networks from it internal cities ISIS got a hit now ISIS eyes on Afghanistan as it's new target for survival and will get in a crash course with USA, Afghan Gov and Indian interests. India eyes Afghanistan as it's ne mining zone but they dug a grave when they exported ISIS and made an alliance in ISIS and TTP now the stakeholders will suffer because of their own policy and Pakistan will simply increase the border security. I think it is a slow but good plan for Pakistan.

But I never hear Afghan police getting M-16. I will check the internet but I don't think so that Afghan police was ever given M16.
