4 Assam Rifles jawans killed in Nagaland ambush

GUWAHATI: At least four jawans of the 40th Assam Rifles were martyred and six injured in an ambush laid by suspected NSCN (Khaplang) terrorists at Aboi in Mon district of Nagalandnear Indo-Myanmar border.

A defence source said that two fatal casualties on the Assam Rifle side have been confirmed while two of the six injured jawans are in a critical state. The injured jawans have been airlifted on an Army chopper to Jorhat in Assam for medical aid.

The jawans were collecting water when they were attacked by terrorists who were in hiding. This is the second time that Assam Rifles jawans have been targeted in the state in this manner.
In May 2015, eight jawans of the 23rd Assam Rifles were killed and six others injured in an ambush by NSCN (K) militants in Mon district of Nagaland near Changlangsu.

The NSCN (K), which is based in Myanmar, pulled out of a 15-year-old ceasefire agreement with the Centre three years back.

They are doing very good job by using WWII weapons, we must help these fighters and should provide AK series Guns along with RPG.

The Indians only seem interested in when some freedom fighter gets martyred in IOK or when an incident takes place in Pakistan, they seem least bothered about what's happening in the Red Corridor, Nagaland or elsewhere or the daily treatment meted out to the Dalits or some one even transporting a cow or two.

They are simply obsessed with Pakistan and Muslims and whenever tragedy strikes us they feel happy....Two days back when Pak Rangers kill some BSF pigs I saw no sadness from their side....Even BSF feel alone and few gather together and protested against Pak Rangers....lols what a moral boaster that protest was.... seems they simply dejected by their fallow country men and fails to handle caliber offered by Pak rangers

I didn't say anything. The number 14 was brought by you. I guess you read the same news from two different sources, one was reported by Times of Islamabad who put the figure as 10 (God knows from where they got this figure), the other is this source which states 4 casualties.

Edit: This source says 4 killed and 6 injured. It seems TOIS couldn't hide its happiness and declared all 10 dead.

So nobody knows what is going on in Nagaland and people are even afraid to even ask how many actually got killed.
Nagaland should ideally declare independence since they have won their liberation war.

How the hell did you come to this conclusion? Wrong reporting from a Pakistani newspaper does not mean nobody knows what's happening here. And by your standards, when are you declaring Quetta an Independent country?
