if you are using bullets against stone pelters and unarmed protestors than imagine what will your army do when these people have access to taliban like weapons which are enough to fight US and more than enough to defeat soviets.
stone pelters were only once shot on by Pakistani police and all policemen are in jail now. But indian army it raped a whole village, killed thousands and no justice had been done.
most of the people bombed by pakistan were armed islamic terrorists. Ordinary people of those areas are supporting Pakistan army bombing compaigns.

If you see the videos of stone pelters on Indian Army vehicles, you will realize how much restraint and control our armed forces are observing in Kashmir. Thats how we deal with our citizens. India is going to run back begging Pakistan for Talks very soon. Modi and doval are fast sinking India. I cannot comprehend their strategy of flushing down the Indian semblance of secularism. Economic progress reaches a point where social progress becomes the limiting factor. India however is driving in reverse. Its the civilian government in India that decides how and when our armed forces will use what weapons. Now the Indian Supreme Court has also allowed the use of pellets against stone pelters. Here is the difference between your army and our army. Your army uses f 16 against your own citizens who use RPGs and mortars but our army uses only bullets and hand grenades against the terrorists who use RPGs, Mortars, RDX or IEDs or any other sophisticated weapons. because only 2 to 3 men attack your army whereas we face awhole army of more than 50k highly trained and experienced guirillas.
if you want to use jets against 2 -3 people than it's your choice. But you will be forced to use it when 50 of your soldiers are attacked by 1000 guirillas at any time.

India's policy regarding Kashmir is simple. Kashmir is our land, Kashmiri can choose to live here as Indians or can peacefully migrate to where ever they want. However if they choose the path of stone pelting, militancy, violence then those will be put to sword.
Our Army has been pretty effective in doing that. Our biggest mistake was not to amend our constitution and allow settlement of people from all over India into Kashmir.
