300-year-old Mosque is bulldozed by the Hindu nationalist government in Uttar Pradesh, India

As if politicians here write in their manifestoes that they'll destroy mosques if people vote them.
something tells me even if they did write it in their manifestos, you'd find a way to defend them.
btw, all those dharam sansads and shit, what are those if not an expression of political goals?

I don't know if the comparisons with Hindus in Pakistan are valid. They are a miniscule minority and powerless. They are not politically important at all. If you have large minorities, there will be friction. In your case you do have friction between Pashtuns, Urdu speaking Muslims, Sindhis in Karachi/Sindh and I am sure there is politics played along these lines.
THIS is precisely my point. The only reason things are relatively better on that front in Pakistan is this, but this fact doesn't seem to discourage some dishonest posts making false comparisons.

You are a sensible poster, dude but gotta disagree with you there. I am not saying that we are a bunch of angels over here but so far we are good. Nobody's getting voted in for persecuting minorities over here. Let me give you a recent history example, PTI is the biggest crowd puller in Pakistan. All the other parties combined can't pull a crowd, but guess which other party can match PTI in street strength? It's TLP (yes, them). But here's the shocker, they've been rocking the place up for years now but they have barely managed to scrape a couple of seats in the assemblies after all the years. Again, not saying people here are angels, but our issues are different right now and for the foreseeable future. Religious parties, while have fanatical followers, are underdogs in Pakistani politics.

@Paitoo , sir, your comment?
How does this not prove automatically Pakistan is rigging elections?
