I still have my 30 minutes cardio open for today...cardio is what i hate but well...i will go in an hour. ha ha

It's OK to not have a spotter if you have the safety bars set up, which it looks like he did.

The spotter won't catch a dropped weight anyway, safety bars are much better since they will always catch it.


Yup, my spotter in this case was a girl and i doubt she could have hold it in an emergency. I always put the bars up, so in worst case it stops there. Oh and i hope they wont break ha ha

That's good, safety bars are always the best bet. Spotters usually won't be fast enough to catch a falling weight, no matter how strong they are.

If there are no safety bars available, you can do a dumbbell press instead, that's a much safer movement. You'll have to lower the weight, but some people say it's better due to how much stabilization it requires from your muscles.

It's always better to be safe in my opinion, if you get injured you might have to take a few months off the gym and that is tough.

I dont know what duento is ha ha

You should put as much weight on that it gets hard to make the last reps but still managable. Dont use too much or you have higher risk for injury.

Great stuff. When I did weightlifting I never managed beyond 110kg. That was my absolute high water mark. My brother manages about 125kg. But I think my nephew who has began weightlifting will take the mark to 150kg.

And I respect that you have shown your 'face' here with images. Most PDF'ers don't have the gollocks to 'show themselves' but talk big behind faceless annonymity.

That is because this guy is actually good looking :D And the dude has muscles as well so if I was him I would not be that shy either.

I dd my cardio and as i thought...i hated it ha ha. I love all my training but for cardio must always force myself to do it.

If you don't like regular cardio, you can do hybrid strength/cardio like kettlebell swings.

Or instead of doing straight sets (3-4 sets of bench press) during weightlifting, you can lower the weights across the board and train in a circuit across more exercises. If you lower the weight to a point where you can do 20+ reps of an exercise in a single set, that becomes more like a strength/cardio hybrid.

150 kg is hell lot of weight to lift that too without a spotter.

But .......

What you did, does it qualify as proper bench press? The way we do the bench pressing for building chest?

You were totally out of form dude ..... for you as a regular player this may be fine .... but for many others this would be harming their body even with the much lower weights.

I do 30 Kg , 10 reps , 3 sets and go back home :D (And dont return yo the gym for a week)
