Give they took a large portion of budget, have huge business running, housing societies, and its been long since they are doing their own job which is protecting Pakistan so yes they have become docile and corrupt. All they care about is interfering in Politics, making sure their interests are secure if not the topple the Govt, so yes I will blame them for overall security of Pakistan.

That’s not entirely true - DHA has so many phases it goes through and they are never ending so they cannot all be blamed. For e.g. DHA Phase-II ext is no better than Lyari.

They are musalman bradran required to populate the once desolate and empty streets of Islamabad. Where there used to be utter silence and owls in now there is a Afghani/Madaris metropolis particpating in legendary Pakistani hospitality by providing bed and breakfast for such elements .

Whoever allowed Islamabad to expand like it has --- into slums, traffic congestion, weird sleazy dudes lurking around everywhere --- should pay a heavy price.

Please note that I said should, not will --- since nobody cares about these fundamental issues. We only know how to kinetically tackle terrorists once they become violent. All the socioeconomic, planning, and psychological issues that provide a fertile ground for their growth hardly ever receive attention. Islamabad has become a dump and people from all over Pakistan come and say, "wow, what a beautiful city!" because they're own shitholes are even worse.

A cloud of mediocrity looms over everything in Pakistan. Leaders pat themselves on the back for successively lowered definitions of what constitutes excellence. It's a sad, scary state of affairs.

It's these people who think the army and governments have been doing a decent job. No, sorry, they haven't --- they just protect their interests and (barely) keep Pakistan afloat. Wow, what an achievement!

U know what, I already mentioned sickness has no cure.. But if it had some effect, till the time u don't hold responsible the hierarchy which has to correct it this country is going no where.. Merely holding DHA responsible is not going to make the things right.. OK per say DHA is responsible,then al question is, have u seen any politician with vision and ur top beaurucracy working day and night.. Is your AC and DC accessible to poor people.. No there is no big no
Moreover if u say it's about the budget then ask all these bunch of bafoons sitting in big offices to resign and let DHA run the country on pretext having less budget..
It's not about the budget but honesty and hard working which our civilian side doesn't have.. So stop winning about DHA in a way that ur rest of the system is so honest and hardworking.. And come out of this western narrative..
