NAVAREA maybe not but NOTAM will still be required IMO .

Saurav Jha has tweeted that Nirbhay hardware is present in the test site but test has been postponed to Oct end .

No its Not barak 8... 50 Kms is too small for Barak 8. An upgraded SAM perhaps with improved quick reaction update and some changes to increase accuracy and guidance seems to be whats intended,
Judging by what we have in arsenal looks like Akash version and updates. Perhaps a wholesome launch in "salvo mode" to gauge its full effect and improvements

That looks like Barak 8. Notice the safe flying height implying the at its at best a ship based SAM as certain SAMs goes much higher.. (i think Buks for example has a max altitude range of around 24-25 km).
Also, the older Baraks have an max altitude of 10-12kms so of course Barak 8 has max higher altitude but as usual India will test with depressed specs in order not to alarm many parties..
