26/11 Anniversary

Today is the anniversary of the 26/11 terrorist attack on Mumbai.

My condolences to the people of Mumbai and India at the loss of precious lives. It is my hope and prayer that the scourge of terrorism is uprooted from the region, and all across the world, as soon as possible. We are all part of the same human race living on the only home we know: Mother Earth.

It was very sad to watch the massacre unfold live on TV, I put blame on the media also the likes of NDTV which caused more fatalities but it is done now one can only hope we have learnt from our past mistakes.

Hope the culprits are bought to book and let Bhagavan grant those who died Moksha.

There is no point in these candle light vigils when the Govt is not doing anything to bring the perperators to justice. That would be the real tribute to the souls of those martyred and a fitting action to demonstrate to their loved ones that India still cares for them.

I wonder 26/11 would have got that much publicity if not for those citizens of 10 others countries killed in the attacks.Otherwise mumbai has suffered worst of terror attacks like 1993 mumbai blats( nearly 260 killed 700+ injured) ,7/11 mumbai train blasts(200+killed,700+ injured).And i wondered why these were forgotten soon.
