Another 25 crore Indians are just lingering above this benchmark.

That's rougly 500 million individuals suffering a terrible economic blow.

I wonder why huge sums of international aid is never directed towards this population.

Guys I don't know if we should be saying bad things about the poor in India (or anywhere else) - this being Ramzan. We Muslims are better than this.

They are a badly managed country, that is for sure.

Poverty transcends all religions/ethnicities and we have to be better examples. Like this lady.
