The Jews lived in their land for over a thousand years before a large part were dispersed by the Romans. The Jews nevertheless remained a people - a nationality. It makes sense because you're a Jew if your mother was a Jew or if you were adopted into the "tribe" by arduous and lengthy conversion: Jews are a people, Judaism is our religion.

After WWI the victors decided that the defeated empires - Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian/German, and Russian - would have their component nationalities divided into respective nation-states. International law - the Treaty of Sevres and the Palestine Mandate - released Jews from loyalty to the Ottoman sovereign, declared Palestine the "Jewish National Home" and explicitly called for "close settlement" of the Land by Jews. It was thus only natural for many Jews to return to their homeland, too - about half of Israel's population had great-grandfathers who either lived in The Land or in Muslim-majority countries (including some from Pakistan.) In this context, Israel is just as legitimate as the Czech Republic, Greece, or Lebanon.

Many jews converted to Islam and probably outnumber jews by now; do they have a right to declare Israel as an Islamic country?

The difference is this :

They the jews were very few in number ; they could not fight the invaders
so they went to Europe

Now GOD HELPED them in 1945 ; The Christians were very powerful
they gave them their HOMELAND forcibily

But the LAND initially and originally belonged to Jews

SO the difference between Jews and Hindus is that Hindus
continued living in India and kept RESISTING and Fighting the invaders
for several centuries and ultimately RECLAIMED Our land and country

Hindus were far too many in number

SO even if millions died in resisting the invaders ; the fight was never given up

It's a fact that Jews have resided in that area for centuries and then thrown around and dispersed during various rules. They have a legitimate right to come back to their place of origin when they have been oppressed everywhere else.

However, the manner this process was undertaken I suppose was wrong. The residing Arabs and the immigrating Jews should have reached a consensus to share that land since both had rights to it. A failure to reach so has now snowballed into mindless violence where both sides are equally culpable of committing atrocities of unimaginable proportion.

There's still hope left. Both sides should give up use of force and come to a settlement. Seeking recourse for every wrong perpetrated will only fuel this cycle of violence.

This is literally a racist post. You don't have the right to steal a people's land, no matter of their culture and religion.
Colonialists justified their crimes pointing out that their victims were culturally inferior, stupid and incapable of taking care about themselves.

Your point is that Palestinians are stupid while jews are smart, that's not true, but let's pretend for a moment that it's true. Now tell me: what right to you have to steal my land? wouldn't it be like if a thief robbed you and people supported the thief because they said that the thief is smart while you are stupid?

The main reason why I will never support Israel is their filthy colonialist attitude. They justify their crimes pointing out that you are stupid because you're muslim while they're smart, and they even dare to call us anti-semite if you don't agree with them. Colonialist people should be hunted down the streets. Whoever agrees that a people has inferior rights and it's therefore worth to steal their land and ethnically cleanse them to replace them with a "smarter" people doesn't deserve to live. It's dangerous to leave these potential murderers free to carry on their genocide.
