I may be a bit biased but Melbourne has to be way more higher than that, Atleast in the top 10.. No way should Sydney be higher ranked than Melbourne when it comes to quality of life

Colombo 138. Tops South Asia as excepted.. Not bad for a city that was barricaded only a decade ago in fear of Terror attacks

@Godman With the Monorail coming in i'd expect Colombo to rise in the rankings in the coming years.. Atrocious public transport is a major impediment for the growth of the city

Thank God, Dhaka lost the dubious reputation of being the 2nd worst city to live in. Inclusion of more African cities helped.:D

194 Islamabad. Feel like that's not true, way too low to be true.
This list seems to be crappy. Vienna is number one on this list... which is pretty unhealthy city compared to Scandinavian cities. There are no dedicated bike lanes, people do not like to walk ... and unhealthy food so a lot of fat people..

And Stockholm is on 23 in this crappy list while Stockholm has consistently been voted the most green capital in Europe, a lot more nature and open space..so I really wonder how they listed it.

Not proud at all. Dhaka's ranking is still at the bottom. But at least ''2nd worst'' designation have been removed. Worst, 2nd worst, 3rd worst such designation are much more damaging than just 'one of the worst' designation. Dhaka did not improved, but inclusion of other dysfunctional cities helped it to camouflage among the crowd. If you are branded as the only criminal in the group, it is much more damaging for your mental happiness and reputation then turning out to be only one of the 10 criminal in the group. I hope you gasped my points.

Yeh awaam be like A typical PMLN fan " Mian Saab NY Lahore ko Parish bna deya hai"
Actually Lahore has seen development on a scale which would make other cities jealous.

These lists are pointless actually. Just show the next possible trend in terms of development which makes it good to be lower down the number.

Islamabad in many such listings are clubbed together with Rawalpindi, the twin city...

Otherwise Islamabad scores well in all the parameters listed above, except for public transport, overall even with the BRTS, housing is expensive as well...rest of the indices are present in Islamabad...

Small expensive cities with fewer inhabitants will always tops the list, some exceptions here.
